Regal House is a landmark redevelopment that reimagines a key part of Gibraltar’s urban fabric, balancing heritage with innovation to create a vibrant, sustainable workplace.
The design celebrates the city’s cultural identity by retaining and revitalising its courtyard as a green social hub with a café, seating, and planting areas, while reintroducing pitched roofs and echoing the textures of Gibraltar’s historic stone walls. The redesigned ground floor extends into Reclamation Road and Chatham Counterguard, opening the building to the wider community with shared gardens and social spaces.
With two and a half additional floors, new roof terraces, and modern, flexible office environments, Regal House supports collaboration, wellness, and sustainability. The central courtyard acts as both a cultural heart and a passive cooling system—improving comfort, reducing energy demand, and enhancing the local microclimate.
This 12,905 m² redevelopment delivers a forward-looking office destination that respects Gibraltar’s heritage while strengthening its social and environmental future.
