Forbes 1848 is a 15 storey mixed use development in Devil’s Tower Road, providing both public and private facilities including; a themed cafe, gym / spa, covered parking, commercial units and 82 apartments ranging from studios to 4 beds.
Situated within what will become the main thoroughfare into Gibraltar, the design takes inspiration from the dramatic backdrop of the Rock’s north face to create a dynamic and iconic façade, aspiring to be a positive contributor to the evolution of DTR and greater Gibraltar.
Its name pays homage to the nearby Forbes Quarry where the world’s second neanderthal skull was discovered. The Forbes Café will also be themed and feature a permanent exhibit including info-graphics representing the Quarry and Skull.
All apartment types boast generous areas, contemporary floor to ceiling height windows, Juliet balconies as well as spacious balconies.
