1708 Hospital Ramp

We were pleased to have assisted in getting this project successfully through planning on first application following previous rejections for projects on this challenging site.
The site sits in the old town of Gibraltar. Our approach was to remain sensitive to the historic setting but to also respond to modern times. The design aim was to complement the character of the area.
The design includes external spaces, in an area where the open spaces and vegetation are scarce. The houses are recessed in massing in strategic ways to break the general volume. The design includes parking, playground and green areas, maximising the views, sunlight and privacy, in a dense urban area. Accessibility was also a key factor of the design.
The Hospital Ramp homes are ideal for families who want to live in the heart of the city.
