The Harrison Boutique Hotel is designed within South Bastion dating back to the 17th Century, and against the Charles V Wall, both historic fortifications which are designated heritage assets under the Heritage and Antiquities Act 2018. Proposals include carful retention and refurbishment of the majority of existing structures contrasted with modern extensions to provide a unique development including spa treatment rooms, swimming pool, restaurant and 16 boutique hotel rooms. Two courtyards with feature shallow ponds create central focal points for an inward looking oasis on the edge of Main Street, nestled within historic bastion walls.
